Image Entertainment presents the DVD and Blu-ray DVD release of the hit Broadway musical, Company, featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim on May 20th! Director John Doyle brings his unique approach similar to his version of Sweeney Todd in 2005: the actors perform all the instruments on stage.
Last night, April 17th 2008, A Catered Affair opened at the Walter Kerr Theatre. A Catered Affair has a book by four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, score by John Bucchino and direction by Tony Award-winner John Doyle.

PREMIERES, a not-for-profit musical theater development company, proudly announces the world premiere of INNER VOICES: SOLO MUSICALS, three new works created by and starring some of the industry's brightest talents. INNER VOICES will feature librettos by Ellen Fitzhugh, Laura Harrington and Michelle Lowe; scores by Michael John LaChiusa, Jenny Giering and Scott Davenport Richards, the work of directors Jonathan Buttrell, Jeremy Dobrish and Jack Cummings III, and performances by Tony Award winner Victoria Clark, Jennifer Damiano (Spring Awakening) and Tony nominee Barbara Walsh (Company). INNER VOICES will begin its limited, 12-performance run on Monday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. at The Zipper Factory Theater (336 West 37th Street). The press opening is scheduled for Sunday, May 18.

A spokeswoman for Patti LuPone has announced that due to illness, the actress will no longer be able to perform tonight in 'Ladies Who Sing Sondheim'. According to reports Laura Benanti has also pulled out of the event due to illness also, Raul Esparza, Barbara Walsh and Donna McKechnie have jumped aboard as part of the evenings entertainment.
