Jillian Erickson and Roberta Miles, the 'Loose Chicks' will be presenting an hour long performance based on their experiences through life. This juicy, gutsy, cutting edge look at life through the eyes of two femme fatales will be presented at the 'Let Them Eat Chocolate', 5306 N. Damen . The performance is Friday, August 12th, 2011 @ 7:30pm. There is a suggested donation.

From poignant to funny, mirth to disaster, and everything in between, it's all happening at Café Ballou, 939 N Western Ave, in Chicago. The entertainment begins at 7pm.

Like Rodney Dangerfield before him, Frank Wildhorn gets no respect in musical theater circles. Despite the relative success of his first widely known work for musical theater - Jekyll and Hyde, a popular if not exactly critical success - Wildhorn's subsequent musicals have been met with lukewarm praise, at best, including his just-closed Wonderland, which got some of the season's most scathing reviews on Broadway. The Roxy Regional Theatre, never a company to let reviews influence their show selection, brings Wildhorn's Tony Award-nominated The Civil War to the stage in Clarksville, in a largely successful and watchable production featuring a young, committed and capable cast.

Singer-songwriter and pianist Kenny White, hailed by the New York Times as 'about as enlivening as anything heard on the pop front this year,' along with being praised by American Songwriter, Relix and San Francisco Chronicle, among others, will perform a series of concerts at New York's legendary Café Carlyle February 19 & 26 and March 5 & 12.
