New York Wine Events is pleased to announce the New York City Winter Wine Festival presented by Citi featuring hundreds of wines from around the globe will return to Times Square at the PlayStation Theater (formerly The Best Buy Theater) on Saturday, March 10, 2018. General admission sessions for the 9th annual event will be held at 3:00-6:00pm and 8:00-11:00pm. A special Premium Early Access ticket offers guests the option of walking the extensive food and wine event one hour earlier, commencing at 2:00pm for the afternoon session and 7:00pm for the evening. Netflix Cancels DISJOINTED After Season 1

Syracuse Stage continues its critically acclaimed season with a sterling production of Lorraine Hansberry's classic American play "A Raisin in the Sun," Feb. 21 - March 11, at the Syracuse Stage/Syracuse University Drama Complex in the Archbold Theatre, 820 E. Genesee St., Syracuse.

Alec Baldwin and Kelli O'Hara will star in Westport Country Playhouse's Spring Gala performance of A. R. Gurney's play, 'Love Letters,' on Thursday, April 12, at 7 p.m. The one-night-only, $250 per ticket fundraising event will honor the memory of playwright A. R. 'Pete' Gurney, who was a consistent contributor to the Playhouse stage, with 21 works produced there from 1980 through 2016. Gurney died last June at age 86.

The 2017-18 Ruth Easton New Play Series at the Playwrights' Center continues March 5 and 6 with Core Writer Meg Miroshnik's new play 'Quiver.' The readings begin at 7 p.m. at the Playwrights' Center, located at 2301 E. Franklin Avenue in Minneapolis. They are free, but reservations are recommended and can be made at pwcenter.org.

Ghostlight Records will celebrate the release of the original Broadway cast recording of THE BAND'S VISIT, the best reviewed musical of the season, with an exclusive in-store performance and fan photo-op at Barnes & Noble on the album's release date, Friday, February 23 at 4:00 PM. As BroadwayWorld sadly reported yesterday, Broadway star Jan Maxwell passed away at 61 years of age after a battle with cancer. The star is survived by her husband, actor/playwright Robert Emmet Lunney, and their son William Maxwell-Lunney.
