Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher will both star in an upcoming romantic comedy to be directed by Ivan Reitman, according to reports by 'Variety.' The film, which has a working title of 'Friends With Benefits' features a screenplay written by Elizabeth Meriwether.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival Announces its 2010 Season

The Tony Award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival will celebrate its 75th anniversary this season, and while patrons will notice celebratory signs and banners as well as opportunities to sit in on historical lectures and talks throughout the season, the primary celebration is onstage. OSF has promised its audiences, to whom it has dedicated this milestone season that it will continue to focus energies on producing great plays this year.

Marin Theatre Company will produce the world premiere of its 2009 Sky Cooper New American Play Prize winner, Sunlight by Sharr White, January 21 through February 14, 2010. In addition to the Sky Cooper Prize, Sunlight has garnered substantial national recognition. Following MTC's premiere, this searing political thriller will be produced at three other theaters as part of a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere-Arts West in Seattle, Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis, and New Jersey Rep.

Natalie Portman Preps for 'Black Swan'

International stage and screen superstar Natalie Portman will star alongside Mila Kunis in the Darren Aronovsky-helmed Black Swan. The film is a psychological thriller that centers on ballerina who competes against a rival dancer who may or may not be another version of herself. The film is penned by Mark Heyman, who revised an original script by John McLaughlin.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival Closes 09 Season With Record Attendance And Revenues

In what the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's Artistic Director Bill Rauch and Executive Director Paul Nicholson can only describe as amazing, OSF's 2009 season results have exceeded all expectations. Initially anticipating a slump in the 2009 season attendance and revenue, the Festival closed with record attendance of 410,034 (89% of capacity), and record revenues of $17,098,115.

Black Swan State Theatre Officially Launches 'Star Gazing 2010' Season

Black Swan State Theatre Company launched its 2010 season at Canton Lounge Bar on Tuesday evening. Black Swan's Artistic Director, Kate Cherry, introduced Black Swan' season, themed 'Star Gazing 2010'. The invited guests were also addressed by playwright Hannie Rayson, whose new play, The Swimming Club, is one of the centerpieces of Black Swan's 2010 season.
