The internationally acclaimed musical sensation PINK MARTINI will bring their unique and highly praised vocal stylings to The McCallum Theatre for a 'one night only' concert on Saturday, September 8 at 8:00 pm. Drawing inspiration from music from all over the world - crossing genres of classical, jazz and old-fashioned pop - Pink Martini's diverse repertoire is a blend influenced by Cole Porter and Duke Ellington, Tito Puente and Xavier Cugat, as well as Argentine tango, Brazilian samba, Italian folk, Asian and romantic Hollywood musicals of the 1940s and '50s.
In honor of its 10th Anniversary Season, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in downtown Appleton will host a variety of Signature Events inviting local artists and audiences to be part of a yearlong celebration at the Center. The Lied Center for Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has announced its 23nd season of world-class performing artists. Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans are to join the cast of Ghost The Musical to play Molly and Sam in Matthew Warchus' stage musical version of the Academy Award® winning film. Ghost The Musical opened at the Piccadilly Theatre in the West End in June this year where it has subsequently been playing to packed houses. Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans join Sharon D Clarke as Oda Mae Brown and Andrew Langtree as Carl who continue in the roles they originated on stage when the production premiered.
