Tony Award-winning actor Norbert Leo Butz delighted students as their special 'surprise guest' during the Broadway Artists Alliance Summer Intensive (Session Two)

The New York Pops will open its 26th season at Carnegie Hall on Friday, October 17 at 8:00PM.

Gypsy's Tony Award-winning actress Laura Benanti delighted students as their special 'surprise guest' during the Broadway Artists Alliance Summer Intensive.

Broadway Star and BTP Alum Ashley Brown, currently playing Mary Poppins in the Broadway hit Mary Poppins, Rob Fisher and Joan Lader will be teaching at Broadway Theatre Project in Tampa Week Two.

The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization confirmed today that principal orchestral and vocal work has been completed for the first complete recording of Rodgers & Hammerstein's ALLEGRO. A release date for the recording will be announced shortly.

On Thursday June 26th, DON'T QUIT proudly celebrated its 2nd anniversary. The show began as a one-off benefit on June 26, 2006 at Joe's Pub, which grew into 10 sellout months. In the spring of 2007, a commercial production played off-Broadway at the HA! Comedy Club in Times Square. By 2008, the show was firmly planted at The Zipper Factory, playing to oversold houses for six months straight.

Producers Cameron Mackintosh and Thomas Schumacher are pleased to announce that Gavin Lee, who originated the role of Bert in the hit Broadway and London productions of MARY POPPINS, will be joining Ashley Brown, who originated the title role on Broadway, for the show's eagerly anticipated North American National Tour.

The event honored James Nederlander Sr., James Nederlander Jr. and the New York Yankees.

On Wednesday, April 16th Disney Theatrical Productions (Thomas Schumacher, producer) presented a cabaret featuring the songs of composer Alan Menken. The evening featured performances by Disney on Broadway stars Sierra Boggess (The Little Mermaid), Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins), Sean Palmer (The Little Mermaid), Josh Strickland (Tarzan) and Alan Menken himself. According to a spokesperson for the Disney/Cameron Mackintosh National Tour of Mary Poppins, Ashley Brown, who originated the role on Broadway will head the cast the national tour scheduled to start March 25, 2009 in Chicago's Cadillac Theatre.
