The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of Laura Marks's powerful new play Bethany. Directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch, Bethany will run today, Jan. 25 - Feb. 23, 2014 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run Jan. 25 - Jan. 29. Opening night is Thursday, Jan. 30 at 8:00 p.m. Meet the cast and creative team in the photos below!

A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS opens September 27, in the Dr. Lynn Schornick Theatre in the Jack Benny Center for the Arts, 39 Jack Benny Drive-Bowen Park, Waukegan, IL. Performances run September 27, 28, October 4, 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13. Curtain for Friday and Saturday performances is at 8 PM; and for the Sunday matinees at 3 pm. Tickets may be purchased through on-line registration at www.waukeganparks.org, by calling 847-360-4740, or at the door. Single adult tickets are $20; senior/military/seminary student tickets are priced at $15; and student tickets are $10.

Shakespeare & Company's Artistic Director Tony Simotes is thrilled to announce the much anticipated return to its birthplace this summer in an exciting special engagement at Edith Wharton's Home, The Mount. Beginning today, July 20, the Company's non-union schools tour, the Northeast Regional Tour of Shakespeare, will perform a special 90-minute version of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Plunkett Street address in Lenox where the landmArk Theatre Company was created in 1978.

The New York premiere of Graham Schmidt's new translation of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, a play following a family of 19th Century Russian artists and non-artists depicts a timeless portrait of art and the need to communicate. Through the lens of the roaring American 1920's, this production attempts to break open and examine our inescapable battle to compare ourselves and our work, and the powerful effects of unfulfilled desire.
