GO-GO KILLERS: SUCKER PUNCH will feature a preview performance by the cast of the retro-futuristic, ass-kicking new play, Go-Go Killers, written by Sean Gill and Directed & Choreographed by Rachel Klein, playing at The Sage Theater (711 Seventh Avenue, 2nd floor), May 8-30. A new drug menace is about to arrive on these shores! The UK Premiere of the hit off-Broadway smash musical Reefer Madness! is coming to London! A biting musical satire of the 1936 black-and-white propaganda film of the same name, Reefer Madness! will - for the first time - introduce unsuspecting Brits to the harrowing tale of Jimmy Harper: a fresh-faced, innocent, all-American high school boy lured into the dangerous world of marijuana. Guided along the way by a colourful cast of characters including George Washington, Lady Liberty and even Jesus himself, will Jimmy successfully navigate this seedy underworld and live to tell the tale?

The Mill premieres Ken Urban's The Private Lives of Eskimos (or 16 words for snow.) Eskimos opens Sunday January 11, 2009 at 8pm at Stage Left Theatre, 3408 N. Sheffield Ave. in Chicago.

No other NY theater company received a grant of this size from the NEH. In fact, this is the largest outright grant to any NY State organization. Activist and performer Kathryn Blume will bring her new show, The Boycott, to New York's Arclight Theater for a six-week engagement. Performances will begin on Thursday, October 11 and will continue through Sunday, November 18.

University of Toronto's Theater Erindale has announced their 5-play season, which will include DAVID COPPERFIELD, THAT SUMMER, PILLARS OF SCOCIETY and THE TROJAN WOMEN as well as an original adaptation WOMEN OF THE KLONDIKE.
