GO-GO KILLER Plays At The Sage Theater 5/8-5/30

GO-GO KILLERS: SUCKER PUNCH will feature a preview performance by the cast of the retro-futuristic, ass-kicking new play, Go-Go Killers, written by Sean Gill and Directed & Choreographed by Rachel Klein, playing at The Sage Theater (711 Seventh Avenue, 2nd floor), May 8-30. Actors featured in this special performance will include Elizabeth Stewart, Kari Warchock, Jillaine Gill, Reagan Wilson, Leasen Almquist, Dana Perry, Dasha Kittredge, Megan O'Connor, Robyn Nielsen, Michael Porsche, and B-Movie Star, Kevin G. Shinnick!

THE DEMON WEED Cannabis Discussion To Follow REEFER MADNESS

'THE DEMON WEED!' - the past and present of cannabis propaganda a discussion with Dr Ben Goldacre (The Guardian), Mike Jay (acclaimed drugs historian) and Steve Rolles (Transform Drug Policy Foundation), following a performance of the musical REEFER MADNESS! BRIDEWELL THEATRE, LONDON PERFORMANCE: 28th MARCH 2.30pm followed by free discussion. Entry to the discussion is free for audience members. Come and discover the fascinating history of drugs propaganda and see how it has affected everything from government policy to Daily Mail headlines. The discussion will be accompanied by a screening of highlights from the original, 1936 Reefer Madness and the audience is welcome to field questions. Come along and join in, or just watch the fun!

AQUILA THEATRE (Peter Meineck, Artistic Director) is proud to announce for complete cast for the World Premiere of the stage adaptation of Joseph Heller's Catch 22, adapted and directed by Peter Meineck: joining the previously announced John Lavelle (The Graduate on Broadway) will be Mark Alhadeff (currently appearing in Bedroom Farce; prior to that, Power of Darkness at the Mint), David Bishins (whose numerous NY credits include A Mother, a Daughter and a Gun with Olympia Dukakis; Sympathetic Magic at Second Stage; Boys in the Band), Chip Brookes (making his Off-Broadway debut), Christina Pumariega (last seen in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Hartford Stage, directed by Lisa Peterson and All Eyes And Ears at INTAR, directed by Eduardo Machado), Craig Wroe (seen in Miss Evers' Boys in the West End and Off Broadway at Barrow Street in An Oak Tree), and Richard Willis (more than a dozen Aquila productions including Julius Caesar, The Tempest, The Importance of Being Earnest, Hamlet, The Man Who Would Be King, and others).

No other NY theater company received a grant of this size from the NEH. In fact, this is the largest outright grant to any NY State organization.
