Now in its third year, the Youth Shakespeare Festival features students from Academy of Technology and the Classics, Capital High, Eldorado Community School, Mandela International School, McCurdy Charter School, New Mexico School for the Arts, Santa Fe High, Santa Fe Indian School, Santa Fe Prep, and the Upstart Crows of Santa Fe.

Ducdame Ensemble will bring Victoria Benedictsson's Swedish classic, THE ENCHANTMENT, to North America for its first full production. This new adaptation by Tommy Lexen will be part of SubletSeries@HERE: a curated rental program, which provides artists with subsidized space and equipment, as well as technical support. THE ENCHANTMENT will run June 28th through July 22nd, 2017. Lucy Jane Atkinson is set to direct.
Ducdame Ensemble adds classical musicians and TV personalities to their SHAKESPEARE SINGS Concert on Sunday April 23rd. Columbia Stages presents Macbeth. Coming off the critically acclaimed and sold-out production of The Great Divide at the Finborough Theatre in London, British director Rory McGregor (Columbia MFA Directing Candidate 2017) directs Macbeth in New York City as part of the Columbia Stages season. This production of Macbeth is a theatrical exploration of society's problematic relationship with celebrity.

Ducdame Ensemble will present a one-night-only preview performance of DAMES OF THRONES: THE WOMEN OF SHAKESPEARE'S HISTORIES, on Wednesday February 10th at the Gloria Maddox Theatre in New York City. The event will take place before the production makes its official premiere at the Adobe Rose Theatre in Santa Fe, New Mexico later this month. The devised piece, produced in association with the International Shakespeare Center of Santa Fe, draws from Shakespeare's history plays including RICHARD III, HENRY IV - VI, and KING JOHN.
