With the onset of the 2010-11 academic year, the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music ("CCM") proudly welcomes the following new faculty members.

UPRIGHT CABARET is thrilled to announce that their one-of-a-kind, unique, cabaret experience is expanding and will now be performing in Thousand Oaks at the Scherr Forum Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd. in Thousand Oaks.

Lead producers Margo Lion and Hal Luftig announced today that the new musical CATCH ME IF YOU CAN will open on Broadway Sunday, April 10, 2011 at a Nederlander theatre to be announced. This new musical, created by a team of Tony winners, features a book by Terrence McNally, music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman, choreography by Jerry Mitchell and is directed by Jack O'Brien. Previews begin March 7, 2011. Casting and additional design team will be announced shortly.

Though the guest list for the 80th birthday show is celebrity-packed, there'll also be scores of stars on stage, including Christopher Biggins as compere, telling the story of the theatre from its foundation in the 1930s as a cinema to its current status as UK home to the Wicked phenomenon

Tickets will go on sale on Thursday 23 September for Ghost The Musical which begins its West End run at the Piccadilly Theatre on 22 June 2011, with booking open for performances until 28 January 2012.

The Alliance Theatre's 2010-11 Season kicks off with Twist - an American musical, inspired by the Dickens' classic Oliver Twist, set in New Orleans in 1928. There, while the Roaring 20s dance their way down Bourbon Street, an orphan in search of home finds family in the most unexpected of places. Twist is the story of the emotional struggle of an orphan, whose father was a black song-and-dance man and whose mother was a southern white aristocrat, seeking a place to belong and a family to love while guided by a fierce yearning for home.

Mit der „Sweet Soul Music Revue' kehrt der Entertainer, Schauspieler, Moderator und Sänger nun im September für vier Abende zurück auf die Bühne im Theaterzelt in Fröttmaning. Und neben der Moderation des Abends übernimmt er in dieser großen Revue über die unvergessenen Stars des Soul-Sounds natürlich auch den Part von Ray Charles, dem er seit vielen Jahren mit dem gleichnamigen Musical ein eindrucksvolles Denkmal setzt.

Prior to a West End run opening summer 2011, Ghost The Musical will have a strictly limited 7 week season at the Opera House, Manchester, running from 28 March - 14 May 2011. Public booking for the Manchester season will open on 10 September 2010.

Lilli Cooper, an original cast member of Spring Awakening will be welcoming her brothers Alex and Eddie Cooper for her Joe's Pub Debut, 'Lilli Cooper and the Cooper Clan: Up Till Now.'

Joe's Pub has announced several upcoming performances. Among these is UP TILL NOW, featuring Lilli Cooper along with family members Alex and Eddie Cooper.

Singer/musician extraordinaire Corky Hale plays a heavenly harp and also sings and plays piano along with guest artists Sally Kellerman ('Ive Got a Crush on You'), Freda Payne (a divine 'Alfie'), Tricia Tahara ('My Romance'), Ariana Savalas, and Brenna Whitaker on Corky Hale and friends...I'm Glad There Is You. Hale sounds like a young Ella Fitzgerald ('The More I See You') and all six women work magically on some truly great standards. OK, it's mellow... it's oh so pretty...it's easy listening... it's one terrific album!
