The world's favourite musical, The Wizard of Oz, has finally arrived in Sydney and will celebrate with a star-studded premiere at the Capitol Theatre tomorrow night. Producers John Frost and Suzanne Jones are thrilled Sydney audiences will finally experience the 2011 London Palladium production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Wizard of Oz. With many performances already sold out and the season closing on February 4, Sydney audiences need to get in quick to catch this majestic production.
Now entering its 28th year, Broadway Theatre Project (BTP) announces more 2018 visiting artists. Joining the 2018 BTP Summer Institute is Caroline O'Connor, born in Oldham, Lancashire England. At age 10, O'Connor was named Australian Irish Dance Champion and went on to train at the Royal Ballet School in London, until Anthony Warlow (Australian musical theatre actor) pointed her in the direction of musical theatre. She made her Broadway debut as Velma Kelly in Chicago, and played Mabel in Mack & Mabel, which earned her an Olivier award nomination. Currently, O'Connor is on Broadway for the musical, Anastasia as Countess Lily Malevsky at the Broadhurst Theatre.

Goldenson Broadway Concert Series at Rubicon Theatre Company kicks off with five intimate concerts by award-winning stars of the Great White Way, including Tony Award-winner FAITH PRINCE (Guys and Dolls), L.A.
