Overtone Industries, a celebrated force in the evolution of contemporary music theatre and experimental opera, will share the next phase of its epic new multidisciplinary production, ICELAND, in concert form, at the Ford Theatres' stunning, newly renovated amphitheatre in Los Angeles on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 8:30pm. Written and composed by O-Lan Jones, in collaboration with critically acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Emmett Tinley, ICELAND is a modern love story, set in a mythical and timeless world, where ancient creatures challenge the hero and heroine on an archetypal journey. The work tells an intimate story, beginning in an Icelandic airport and journeying off the map of the known world, into the realm of "The Hiddenfolk" and the vast mythic inner landscapes of Iceland. The ICELAND Concert at the Ford, presented for the first time with full orchestration and complete score, will be directed and choreographed by local legend Ken Roht, with musical direction by David O, as well as additional creative scenic design elements and impressionistic costumes. National Asian Artists Project celebrated its 5th Anniversary of 'showcasing the work of Asian-American theatre artists through performance, outreach and educational programming' on October 5th at 8pm at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (56 LaGuardia Place) with PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE, a one-night-only Gala Benefit evening featuring a line-up of show-stopping wall-to-wall musical numbers from Broadway shows, highlights from past NAAP productions and current material, as well as what Ms. Lee hopes to stage in the future. ?Producers Don Frantz (Beauty and the Beast) and Jonathan Pollard (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change) announced today that after 30 previews and 139 regular performances Off-Broadway, DISENCHANTED! will play its final performance at Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street) on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 7:30PM.

Last night, Baayork Lee and her National Asian Artists Project raised the curtain on their production of OLIVER! The production that plays through tomorrow night only, was made possible with special permission from Cameron Mackintosh and Tams-Witmark Music Library, Inc.

True to its core mission of showcasing the talents of Asian-American theater artists, National Asian Artists Project (NAAP), which presented the Broadway musical 'Hello, Dolly!' last year, is now facing the challenge of staging Lionel Bart's beloved Broadway musical OLIVER!, featuring a 65-member all-Asian cast made up of 20 child actors, including Bonale Zon Fambrini, who will play the title role; 25 professional adult actors; and 20 members of the NAAP Broadway Community Chorus.
