???????Tomike Ogugua, featured on the hit STARZ Network series POWER, will be performing I AM by writer/actor/director/producer Levy Lee Simon at The Unauguration, an evening of American voices, on Monday, Jan 30, at 7pm.
The Drawing Center will present Mateo López: Undo List, a multidisciplinary installation that will be the Colombian artist's first solo museum exhibition in the United States and that will feature works on paper, sculpture, performance, and projected film. Trained as an architect in his native Bogotá, López has long used drawing as a conceptual tool to cross disciplines and aesthetic categories. Drawing is more than an artistic medium for López; it is a way of conceiving and indeed inhabiting the world. Simple drawn constructions that can be manipulated in various ways; trompe l'oeil paper renderings of two and three dimensional objects (for example, near-exact replicas of lined sheets of paper); drawings made out of the leftovers produced by cutting into other works—these are just some of the devices López uses to reveal that, as he says himself, just as everything manufactured was at one point a drawing, so too, “an image is not flat; it is an atmosphere, it contains time and space.” Organized by Claire Gilman, Senior Curator.

A gruesome double murder and the trial of a suspect who might be headed to death row consumes a community for a decade. Readers can follow the action from an anonymous tip through the process of justice in a new book, expected to be released soon by Dog Ear Publishing.
'Reelfoot Killins' centers on the murders of a drug dealer and a well-respected businesswoman. They don't seem to have any obvious connection, and the motive for the murders isn't apparent, but their brutal, execution-style slayings on Reelfoot Lake in northwest Tennessee make it clear their deaths were no accident.
An anonymous tip leads to the arrest of two brothers who are local duck hunting and fishing guides. The case seems to be a slam-dunk because of the pair's criminal history, but the suspects seem to think they've got justice on their side and act accordingly. There may be more to the crimes than meets the eye.
Readers follow the characters through several states and a world away in war-torn Iraq. Told primarily from the point of view of the veteran trial judge, the story reveals the murders and the ripple effect they have on Judge Jim Gordon, the suspects, the attorneys and the entire community. In the end, events lead the now-retired judge to a surprising viewpoint he chooses to reveal on national television. The book's twists and turns take readers on a thrill ride that takes its inspiration from the controversy of the death penalty and everything that it entails.
Joe G. Riley wrote this novel from the perspective of a judge, made easier thanks to his 26 years on the bench. He was a trial judge for 18 years near Reelfoot Lake in Lake and Dyer Counties in Tennessee, trying several capital cases and imposing the death penalty in murder cases. He served as an appellate court judge for almost eight years, writing and participating in numerous death penalty opinions.
Riley is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Tennessee and an honors graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law. He and his wife, Connie, have been married for 47 years. They have three sons and five grandchildren. The retired judge is an avid waterfowl hunter and outdoorsman, as are his sons.

While the title MARK FELT, SUPERSTAR may receive befuddled reactions from those not fully familiar with American political scandals, you can't blame bookwriter/composer/lyricist Joshua Rosenblum for not naming his smart, breezy, informative and extremely enjoyable show 'Deep Throat, the musical.'

It's everywhere. Body Positive ads and videos work its way into the media on practically a daily basis. Stores are expanding the sizes they carry, girls are encouraged to embrace their curves, but all the same a photoshopped fantasy takes over our minds thinking what the ideal image is. I decided to take a look at how this affects the theatre world that I am so blessed to be a part of. I surveyed one hundred random, anonymous participants. The survey was distributed to several different theatre pages on social media where participants have a wide range of experiences and opinions. I also had the pleasure to interview Michael Kennedy (a student at the University of New Haven), Stephen Sheperd (a recent alumnus of the University of New Haven), and Diana Dart Harris (a professor at the University of New Haven whom has degrees in both dance education and exercise science).
