Tomike Ogugua and Gina Femia Slated to Perform at THE UNAUGURATION at Bernie Wohl Center

Tomike Ogugua, featured on the hit STARZ Network series POWER, will be performing I AM by writer/actor/director/producer Levy Lee Simon at The Unauguration, an evening of American voices, on Monday, Jan 30, at 7pm.

Levy Lee Simon's other plays include THE GUEST AT CENTRAL PARK WEST, THE BOW WOW CLUB, GOD, THE CRACKHOUSE & THE DEVIL, and his new film, THE LAST REVOLUTIONARY, written by and starring Levy Lee Simon, will premiere at the Pan African Film Festival, Los Angeles, February 2017.

Also appearing will be Gina Femia performing PUSSYGRABBER. Ms. Femia's work (UNDEAD ANONYMOUS; IT'S LIKE LOVE) has been featured at the United Solo Festival at Dixon Place and the Great Plains Theatre Conference.

"The UNauguration: An evening of artists celebrating the real ideals of this great experiment we call the United States of America" is a theatrical response to the current political climate from actors, writers and performing artists in the New York Community.

Presented by the 29th Street Playwrights Collective and Goddard Riverside Community Center, the evening will be a series of short plays performed at Goddard Riverside's Bernie Wohl Center at Columbus Avenue and 92nd St on the Upper West Side.

Rounding out the evening will be short plays by 29th Street Collective Resident Playwrights Melissa Bell, Michael Wells-Oakes, Matthew J. Wells, and special guest playwrights Joan Lipkin, Ronnie Norpel, Moira T. Smith. Bonny Finberg. and Julian Thomas.

Free and open to the public. A donation of $10 is appreciated.
