Drama League Names 2015 Directing Fellows

The Drama League have announced the exceptional stage directors who have been selected as the 2015 Directing Fellows of The Drama League Directors Project: Paul Bedard, Estefania Fadul, Aneesha Kudtarkar, Emily Lyon, Brad Raimondo, Austin Regan, Daniel Rogers, Annie Tippe, Sarah Wansley and Brandon Woolf. In addition, an eleventh fellow has been selected for a brand-new fellowship program, which will be revealed during the 81st Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony, which will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway). The McKittrick Hotel (542 W 27th Street, New York, NY), home of Sleep No More, is thrilled to announced that the Manhattan premiere of the song cycle Ghost Quartet by Obie Award winner Dave Malloy has added seven additional performances beginning Monday, January 19th. Originally scheduled for January 5, 2015 through January 18, Ghost Quartet is performed by Malloy alongside Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 alums Brittain Ashford, Gelsey Bell and cellist Brent Arnold, and directed by Annie Tippe. This rare revival will run for eight performances between January 9 and 19, 2014. Each performance will be followed by talkbacks or panel discussions with leaders in the arts, government, labor, and health. These discussions are intended to raise critical questions about health access, race, class, and the arts in New York.
