Frances Fisher, French Stewart and Kirsten Vangsness will join a protest march by members of Actors' Equity Association against a proposal recently announced by their union to end the 99-Seat Theater Plan in Los Angeles on Monday, March 23.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) presents a new Broadway production of the classic musical On the Twentieth Century starring Tony & Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, Golden Globe, SAG Award winner & Tony nominee Peter Gallagher, Tony nominee Andy Karl, Mark Linn-Baker, Tony winner Michael McGrath and Tony winner Mary Louise Wilson. On the Twentieth Century is choreographed by Tony winner Warren Carlyle and directed by six-time Tony nominee Scott Ellis, and features music by Cy Coleman, and book & lyrics by Betty ComdenandAdolph Green. On the Twentieth Century is based on plays by Ben Hecht, Charles MacArthur & Bruce Millholland. The original Broadway production was directed by Harold Prince. Broadway's high-flying, death-defying Tony Award winning hit musical Pippin takes down the Broadway big top today, Sunday, January 4, 2015 after 709 performances and 37 previews. Rehearsals kicked off this week at the Alliance Theatre for its upcoming production of Robert Harling's STEEL MAGNOLIAS. The quintessential story of family and friendship, this moving Southern classic tells the story of six complex women sharing life's ups and downs in the safe-haven created in a home beauty salon.

Heartwarming, poignant -- and hilarious. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble presents a revival of Neil Simon's semi-autobiographical dramatic comedy, Broadway Bound, directed by Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), who created the role of 'Stanley' in the original Broadway production. The 8-week run at the Odyssey Theatre is set to open tomorrow night, August 2. BroadwayWorld has a first look at Alexander working with the cast, plus production photos, below!

Tony Award winner Priscilla Lopez, who appeared in the legendary original cast of A Chorus Line and was also a replacement for the role of “Fastrada” in the original production of Pippin in 1973, will join the all-new Tony Award winning production of Pippin in the role of “Berthe” for a limited engagement, Tuesday, July 22 – Wednesday, August 27. Annie Potts will play her final performance in the role on Sunday, July 20. Tony Award winner John Rubinstein, who created the role of Pippin in the original 1972 production, will extend his run in the show as “Charles” through Sunday, August 17. PIPPIN is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).

Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz's Tony Award winning musical comedy Pippin is still going strong at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Emmy Award winner and Executive Director, Elliot Shoenman, and his son Artistic Director, Daniel Shoenman, founded the Inkwell Theater ten years ago, subsequently establishing national critical acclaim for the company with such productions as the Ovation Award nominated AfterMath, starring Annie Potts.
