CEW Productions, the producers of the hit off-broadway musical Mama and her boys will present a staged reading of Stopgap, a new play by Danielle Mohlman.

Coming up this week, 54 BELOW, the performance venue located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz and beyond:

Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Bill Army, Will Brill, Laurel Casillo, Chuck Cooper, Steven Kaplan, Will LeBow, Mimi Lieber, Charlotte Maier, Andrea Martin, Deborah Offner, Matthew Saldivar, Matthew Schechter, Bob Stillman and Amy Warren will join Santino Fontana and Tony Shalhoub in the cast of its upcoming production of ACT ONE, a play written and directed by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart. The production is scheduled to begin previews Thursday, March 20 and open on Thursday, April 17 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).

DISASTER!, the 1970s disaster movie musical now playing Off-Broadway at the St. Luke's Theatre (308 W. 46th Street), has just announced that it will welcome new cast members in the coming weeks.

FAME FOREVER - Talent Springs Eternal, a mystical musical for all ages, has been in development for 7 years with 7 directors and 7 choreographers in 7 different amateur productions in both the United Kingdom and the United States. Now for the first time, it's receiving its first professional exposure with a Demo Cast recording performed by Broadway professionals. Recorded at Kilgore Sound in New York City under the direction of Rick Hip-Flores. The cast includes Justin Keyes, Emily Vasquez, Annie Golden, Sara Schmidt, Jared Joseph, Caesar Samayoa, Regina Le Vert, David Perlman, Amy Decker, Gabrielle Ruiz, Britney Coleman, Nicholas Rodriguez and Marshal Carolan.

Susan Blackwell, Alice Ripley, Michael Cerveris, Julia Murney, Annie Golden, Krysta Rodriguez, Taylor Trensch, Nick Blaemire, Harrison Chad and more will be part of The 6th Annual Joe Iconis Christmas Spectacular, presented December 20-21, at 54 Below.

Today, December 9, 2013 stars from your favorite Broadway shows perform a one-night-only New York concert event to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children. The show begins at 7pm at the beautiful and historic Grand Lodge Masonic Hall located in the heart of Manhattan at 23rd Street and 6th Avenue.

Espousing upon a wide range of topics and tracing her unique professional trajectory thus far, DeLaria sheds some light on a few of her most fondly remembered stage roles - revivals of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW and ON THE TOWN on Broadway, as well as Off-Broadway turns in LITTLE FISH and PROMETHEUS BOUND included - as well as recounts her experiences participating in a handful of feature films, new and old, as well - including the recent Hallmark original movie musical DEAR DUMB DIARY. Set in a garage in suburban Long Island, THE BLACK SUITS tells the tale of four boys (lead singer, guitar, bass and drums) who are preparing for stardom by way of the St. Anne's Battle of the Bands. The band and the music give focus and sustenance to the boys whose lives are filled with teenage angst and longing, struggles with friends and girlfriends, and the need to make choices.

The world premiere of 'The Black Suits,' began previews October 27 at the Center Theatre Group/Kirk DouglasTheatre in Culver City. Performances run through November 24, 2013.
