Veteran Broadway performer Matthew Scott has been named the new Creative Education Director of Broadway Dreams, a not-for-profit organization that provides youth and young adults with performance training, life skills building, and mentorship opportunities from the entertainment industry's most distinguished talents.
Broadway Dreams is expanding its international programming to include Rust, Germany with a seven-day musical theatre intensive at Europa-Park, September 1 through 7, 2018. Located in southwestern Germany, Europa-Park is the largest theme park resort in the country. Tuition has been greatly subsidized for all students who participate in the inaugural German program due to generous sponsorships.

Founder and Executive Artistic Director Benjamin Davis announces today that submissions for the Third Annual Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival (AMTF), to be held in August in Atlanta, will open on December 1, 2017. The deadline to submit new works is February 1, 2018. Selections will be announced in April 2018, at the annual selections announcement event (details forthcoming.)

Broadway Dreams has partnered with the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and Central Piedmont Community College on the return of their annual Summer Intensive, July 29 - August 5, 2017 in Charlotte, N.C. Lead by an all-star roster of Broadway's brightest stars and industry professionals, Charlotte's rising stars will participate in a week-long intensive focusing on acting, vocal performance and dance. The week will culminate in two public performances of a unique Broadwaystyle cabaret, allowing students to perform alongside their Broadway idols.
