The Barrow Group Theatre Company presents its 16th Annual Celebrity Doodles Auction & Gala on Monday, May 10th, 2010. Each year celebrities donate their artwork, or doodles, that are auctioned off in this annual fundraiser, at which The Barrow Group also honors individuals for their service to the arts and TBG. This year's honorees include Jon Marans and David Diamond.

Next up for Cyrano's Off-Center Playhouse in Anchorage is an award winning Canadian play about Shakespeare told from the point of view of his wife, Anne Hathaway. SHAKESPEARE'S WILL will be directed by Steve Hunt and will star Elizabeth Ware. The production will run from April 9-April 25.

Variety reports today that Broadway's Talk Radio star and Gossip Girl regular Sebastian Stan has joined the The First Avenger: Captain America film as Bucky Barnes. Bucky Barnes is the sidekick to Steve Rogers/Captian America, played by Chris Evans, in the popular WWII Marvel comic book series.
