Aurora Theatre Co Announces Season of Premieres

Berkeley's acclaimed Aurora Theatre Company proudly announces the lineup for its 27th season that opens with the Bay Area premiere of Dominique Morisseau's homage to Motown, DETROIT '67. The West Coast premiere of Jonathan Safran Foer's best-selling novel EVERYTHING IS ILLUMINATED, adapted by Simon Block, follows.

Esther and Schmuli are shy young Orthodox Jews embarking on an arranged marriage, despite barely knowing each other. Abe and Julia are high-profile celebrities embarking on a dangerously flirtatious correspondence, despite being married to other people. On the surface, the lives of these two couples couldn't be more different. But Anna Ziegler's funny, insightful, and mysterious new drama explores the hidden connections between seemingly disparate people, drawing audiences into an intriguing puzzle and a deeply sympathetic look at modern love.

Cast And Creative Team Announced for THE SPRING FLING

 F*It Club, the New York Innovative Award-winning film and theatre company, continues its annual series of short, commissioned world-premiere plays at the IRT Theater as part of their 3B Development Series in Manhattan's West Village with The Spring Fling: Chemistry, seven new short plays by Mario Correa (Tail! Spin!), Jahna Ferron-Smith (Ensemble Studio Theatre's Youngblood), Jon Kern (Modern Terrorism), Dan McCabe (Christina Martinez), Mara Nelson-Greenberg (Do You Feel Anger?), Erica Saleh (Channel Zero, Wisdom of the Crowd) and Amy Staats (Eddie and Dave).

Theatre Three Announces 2018-19 Season

Theatre Three Artistic Director Jeffrey Schmidt has announced the 2018-19 season to be produced on the Norma Young Arena Stage. Theatre Three, Dallas's 57-year-old theatre-in-the-round, is located in the Quadrangle in the heart of uptown at 2800 Routh Street, Suite 168, Dallas, TX 75201.

Rachel Chavkin to Direct MTC's World Premiere of CONTINUITY

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) are pleased to announce the world premiere of Continuity, the new play by Lortel and Drama Desk Award nominee Bess Wohl (Small Mouth Sounds, American Hero) and directed by Tony Award nominee Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812).

San Diego Repertory Theatre Announces Season 43

San Diego Repertory Theatre announced today its Season 43, described as by Artistic Director Sam Woodhouse as "eloquent, personal and brave." Next season is one of the most critically acclaimed lineup of plays that the REP has produced in many years. The REP proudly celebrates the work of female theatre artists, and four of the productions are by award-winning female playwrights. Since this is the REP, the audience can expect the important questions and issues of our time to be on stage, upfront and deeply personal. There is also the cultural exploration of love and loss and the return of actor/musician Hershey Felder, the best-selling artist in San Diego REP history, in a spellbinding performance of Beethoven!

Unframed at New Stage Theatre Presents BOY

The Unframed at New Stage Theatre Series presents BOY by Anna Ziegler March 22,23,24, 25 at 7:30pm and March 24 at 2:00pm.  Ticket price is $10.00 and tickets can only be purchased at the door, cash or check only. The New Harmony Project Announces Artists For 2018 Spring Conference

The New Harmony Project (Mead Hunter, Artistic Director; David Hudson, Executive Director; Lori Wolter Hudson, Incoming Artistic Director), an organization dedicated to supporting writers whose work emanates hope, is pleased to announce that ten writers will be in residence for their 2018 annual conference, which will take place from May 21-June 2 in the idyllic town of New Harmony, Indiana.

Cast Announced for Chiara Atik's BUMP

ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATRE (EST) (William Carden, Artistic Director, Sarah McLellan, Executive Director) and The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation (Doron Weber, Vice-President, Programs) announced today the full cast and creative team for the World Premiere of BUMP, written by Chiara Atik (Five Times in One Night) and directed by Claudia Weill(Girlfriends). Part of the EST/Sloan Science & Technology Project (Graeme Gillis, Program Director; Linsay Firman, Associate Director), BUMP begins previews at EST's Curt Dempster Theatre (549 W. 52nd Street, New York, NY 10019) on May 9, 2018, with an opening night set for May 17, for a limited run through June 4, 2018.

Michelle Beck and More Lead THE WANDERERS a the Old Globe

The Old Globe's 2017-2018 Season continues with today's announcement of the complete cast and creative team for the Globe-commissioned world premiere of Anna Ziegler's new American play The Wanderers, directed by Barry Edelstein, the Globe's Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director. The Wanderers will run April 6 - May 6, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Tickets start at $30.00 and are on sale to the general public now. Previews run April 6-12. Opening night is Friday, April 13 at 8:00 p.m.

Pittsburgh's City Theatre Announces 2018-19 Season
