Following their nomination for the 2010 Broadway In Chicago Emerging Theater Award, Caffeine Theatre has announced two new events relating to their Jeff-recommended production of WILD NIGHTS WITH EMILY, currently running at Lincoln Square Arts Center.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced the two plays which will be presented as part of the company's eighth annual Second Stage Theatre Uptown Series this summer: the New York premiere of Michael Golamco's Year Zero, directed by Will Frears, and the world premiere of Leslye Headland's Bachelorette, directed by Trip Cullman.

On the heels of record ratings for their second season debuts, two of SHOWTIME'S critically and audience acclaimed original comedy series NURSE JACKIE and the Emmy(R) winning UNITED STATES OF TARA, have both been renewed for a third season. Both half-hour comedy series have received 12 episode orders and will go into production later in the year. The announcement was made today by Robert Greenblatt, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc.

The Kennedy Center today announced additional casting for Terrence McNally's Master Class. Joining the previously announced Tyne Daly as Maria Callas is Jeremy Cohen as Manny, Laquita Mitchell as Second Soprano (Sharon), Ta'u Pupu'a as Tenor (Tony), and Alexandra Silber as First Soprano (Sophie).

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) presents BATTLE OF BLACK AND DOGS by Bernard-Marie Koltès, translated by Michaël Attias, and directed by Robert Woodruff, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street, at York), April 16-May 8. Beloved playwright A.R. Gurney, a Connecticut resident and author of the plays The Cocktail Hour, The Dining Room and Love Letters, returns to Long Wharf Theatre with his hit comedy Sylvia.

Beane's return to Second Stage Theatre where his critically acclaimed, Tony-nominated play The Little Dog Laughed premiered in 2005. MR. & MRS. FITCH is directed by Scott Ellis, who also staged the world premiere and Broadway transfer of The Little Dog Laughed. Previews began on January 26 and the show officially opened last night, February 22 and BroadwayWorld was there!
