The Off-Broadway League today announced the confirmed performers for the 2012 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. Additionally, the remaining tickets to the show have been released for sale to the public at a discounted rate of $35 each. HBO has renewed the comedy series 'Girls' and 'Veep' for second seasons, to include 10 episodes each.

In VEEP, Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Emmy(R) winner for 'Seinfeld' and 'The New Adventures of Old Christine') stars as Selina Meyer. The show tells the story of a woman who becomes vice president, only to discover the job is nothing like she expected, but everything she was warned about.

Sunday night's debut episode of HBO's new comedy series VEEP, starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus drew 1.4 million viewers in the 10 PM time slot. For the night, including a 12 AM airing, the comedy averaged 1.7 million viewers.

HBO's new comedy VEEP starring Seinfeld alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus will be premiering on the cable network on April 22nd. VEEP tells the stoy of former Senator Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) who has accepted the call to serve as Vice President of the United States.

HBO is giving all audiences, including non-subscribers, a chance to discover its two newest original comedy series GIRLS and VEEP, by offering free access to their first full episodes on multiple platforms.

Broadway star Patti LuPone and actress Anna Chlumsky will guest star on the television series Army Wives, TV Fanatics reports. LuPone will appear on the Lifetime show as a captain in the Army's Intelligence Division, while Chlumsky will play an Army wife whose husband is injured in Afghanistan.
