Noel Coward's HAY FEVER Begins Previews at Stratford Festival

Last season, the Stratford Festival staged a wildly popular production of Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit; this season, another Coward classic will be presented at the Avon Theatre, the outrageously witty Hay Fever. City Theater Company to Close SEason with THE BOMB-ITTY OF ERRORS, 5/2-17

City Theater Company's 20th Anniversary season closes with a dose of hip-hop hilarity in the form of The Bomb-itty of Errors, an "ad-rap-tation" of Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors. The play was written by Jordan Allen-Dutton, Jason Catalano, GQ, and Erik Weiner, with music by J.A.Q.

Starring Soulpepper stalwart Derek Boyes and emerging artist Miriam Fernandes, Soliciting Temptation opens tonight, April 9 and runs to May 4 (with previews from April 1) in Tarragon's Extraspace.

WAM Theatre’s The Attic, The Pearls and Three Fine Girls Ends 11/20

In keeping with WAM's double philanthropic mission, a portion of proceeds from the production will be donated to The Berkshire United Way Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiative. The production closes November 20 at Barrington Stage Company Stage 2 in Pittsfield.

Shaw Festival Announces 2008 Season

The Shaw Festival announced their line-up for 2008. It will include the musicals WONDERFUL TOWN (in the Festival Theatre) and A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC (in the Court House Theatre.) They will also do 4 special concrt performances of the Sondheim/Goldman FOLLIES. The Shaw plays will be GETTING MARRIED and MRS. WARREN'S PROFESSION. The season will also include THE LITTLE FOXES, AN INSPECTOR CALLS, THE PRESIDENT, THE STEPMOTHER, AFTER THE DANCE, and a revival of their 2005 production of BELLE MORAL.
