As overachievers go, Isabel Rose makes Oprah look like a slacker. She is a published author, equally comfortable in the realms of fiction and non-fiction, an award-winning actress who has conquered stage and screens (big and small), a screenwriter whose 2003 hit film Anything But Love was deemed a 'charmer' by the Los Angeles Times, and a playwright and composer who adapted her first novel, The J.A.P. Chronicles, into an off-Broadway musical that enjoyed an extended run in early 2006. If that weren't enough, she also graduated summa cum laude from Yale.

This week, we are taking a listen to the premiere solo album from Tony Award-winning stage star Jane Krakowski who can be seen every week on NBC's 30 ROCK as well as having appeared in countless musicals, television shows and movies over the years. A live recording of her cabaret show, THE LAZIEST GAL IN TOWN is everything we love about Ms. Krakowski and more: the sex kitten with the whip, the saucy siren, the bombshell blonde belter and the bawdiest broad this side of Mae West. LUCIE ARNAZ: FROM LUCY TO BABALU
by Beau Higgins - Jun 26, 2010

I spoke with Lucie while she was in her ‘tiny' Manhattan apartment, as she put it. She was waiting for the delivery of her new mattress. She had recently returned from a wonderfully, luxurious cruise and was getting back to business. Her New York apartment was where she needed to be as opposed to the home in Connecticut she shares with her husband of about 30 years, the fine actor Laurence Luckinbill.
