Theater Breaking Through Barriers will present Transcendency Rising: Short Plays About Defying Limitation, a new evening of original short works by some of the most celebrated voices in American theatre.
The San Diego Performing Arts League is pleased to announce that 41 volunteers from 31 local performing arts organizations have been selected to be honored this year at the 25th Star Awards on Saturday, February 2, 2019. The Star Awards honors volunteers of San Diego County performing arts organizations, and recognizes the indispensable role that volunteers play in the arts community. Each organization selects its own special volunteer to be recognized. These honored volunteers have donated countless hours to music, theater, dance and other cultural institutions in San Diego County.
Titan Theatre Company is currently in rehearsals for its upcoming production of William Shakespeare's romantic romp, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. This spring, GHOST's Stephen Carrasco had new headshots taken and printed. Like any actor, he had tons of old headshots leftover. They're eventually going to make their way into the garbage, so why not have a little fun first? Hence began the first (and only) GHOST on Broadway Doodle Contest.
