Simon Callow is the latest international star to be added to the Stratford Festival's ranks. Mr. Callow will be presenting a new work of his own composition, based on Shakespeare's sonnets.

Nominees for the 2007 American Music Awards, produced by Dick Clark Productions, Inc., were announced today during a press conference at The Beverly Hills Hotel. The three nominees in the Soundtrack - Favorite Album category are Dreamgirls, Hairspray and High School Musical 2.

The Shakespeare Society in collaboration with the Metropolitan Opera will present Shakespeare Goes to the Opera, a musical celebration of opera inspired by the plays of William Shakespeare, Monday September 17 at 6:30PM at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College with Michael Cerveris and Anika Noni Rose.

ShowBusiness: The Road to Broadway is a new documentary film by Dori Berinstein that follows the productions of four of Broadway's biggest shows during the 2003-2004 season.
