Tony Award winning actress Anika Noni Rose will perform in a concert reading of THE MOUNTAINTOP by Katori Hall. The reading will take place at 7:30 PM on April 3 at the Independence Community College as a part of the William Inge Theatre Festival. Chay Yew will direct.

The multi-talented Anika Noni Rose-Grammy nominated singer, Tony Award-winning actress- is on stage at the William Inge Theatre Festival to undertake one of the most anticipated new roles of theater today.

Tony Award nominated actress Debbie Allen will direct the new musical TWIST at the Alliance Theatre from September 1 through October 3 as a part of the 2010-2011 season.

Actor and performer Israel Cortez is becoming quite the YouTube sensation thanks in part to his solo remix interpretation of the powerhouse song 'It's All Over' from the film version of the musical 'Dreamgirls'. Cortez, a La Palma, California, resident, plays all the parts in the song, which is sung by Jamie Foxx, Keith Robinson, Beyonce, Anika Noni Rose and Sharon Leal as they confront Jennifer Hudson's 'Effie'.

Last Night, February 8, the stars came out to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Evidence, A Dance Company, at the Grace in Winter Silver Ball at The Plaza Hotel. The event honored Evidence Founder & Artistic Director Ronald K. Brown and Evidence Chairman, Reginald Van Lee.
