Stage 13 (Dan Fogler, Sarah Saltzberg, Bjorn Thorstad; artistic directors) and the Midtown International Theatre Festival present the New York Premiere of EXPOSED! The Curious Case of Shiloh and Zahara at The Main Stage Theater for 6 performances only, July 15th -July 30th. Stage 13 will also be hosting a fundraiser at Bar 13 (35 East 13th St.) on Saturday July 11th, which will include drinks, food and entertainment.

Village Theatre Announces Directors & Music Directors For 30th Anniversary Season

Village Theatre is pleased to announce the directors and music directors for next season's highly anticipated theatre line up. Artistic director Steve Tomkins gave his directorial debut at Village Theatre in the 1988. This upcoming season marks his seventeenth season with Village Theatre, after having been nominated for an NAACP Award for his work in a Los Angeles production of the new musical City Kid. Tomkins is set to direct three of next season's musical productions.

Holmes Teams With Shankman, Lythgoe And Inaba To Launch 'DIZZY FEET' Dance Scholarship Fund

Variety is reporting that Katie Holmes has teamed up with Hairspray director Adam Shankman, reality TV mastermind Nigel Lythgoe and Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba to set up the Dizzy Feet Foundation. 'Dizzy Feet' is a dance scholarship fund that will give underprivileged youngsters the opportunity to take part in dance programs and win grants to enroll in accredited dance studios.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) announced complete casting today for the Shakespeare in the Park production of Euripides' THE BACCHAE, directed by JoAnne Akalaitis with original music by Philip Glass and translated by Nicholas Rudall. Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker) will play the lead role of Pentheus joining George Bartenieff as Cadmus; André De Shields as Teiresias; Jonathan Groff as Dionysus; Karen Kandel as Chorus Leader; Joan MacIntosh as Agave; Steven Rishard as Cowherd; and Rocco Sisto as Messenger.

PEOPLE is reporting that Katie Holmes will put on her dancing shoes for So You Think You Can Dance this season. The show's producer Nigel Lythgoe confirmed the news to PEOPLE saying, 'It's about a charity, I do not have the status.' Lythgoe is rumored to be directing Holmes in choreography by Tyce Diorio.

Following the success of last year?s inaugural program, Focus Features will on Monday, June 1st, begin accepting entries for a second year of its Africa First Program. The uniquely conceived initiative, with funds earmarked specifically for emerging filmmakers of African nationality and residence, offers eligible and participating filmmakers the chance to be awarded $10,000 in financing for pre-production, production, and/or post-production on their narrative short film made in continental Africa and tapping into the resources of the film industry there.
