Newcomer Nikki Bohne will star in a new tour of the Tony-nominated LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL launching today in Jackson, Mississippi. Bohne, a recent graduate of Brigham Young University, will play the role originated in the film by Reese Witherspoon, and onstage by Tony nomiee Laura Bell Bundy. Bohne's regional credits include Aida (Amneris) and West Side Story (Anybodys) both at the Hale Center Theatre, Footloose (Rusty) and Annie Get Your Gun (Annie), both at the Playmill Theatre.

Quanah is the musical journey of Comanche chief Quanah Parker and his mother, Cynthia Ann Parker, who was kidnapped as a girl and raised by the Comanches as one of their own. It is about Christians, Comanches and Texas Rangers; killing and heartbreak and heroes; and how Quanah came to lead his people from the prairie to The White Man's Road.

Lookingglass Theatre announces today that Andrew White, a founding Ensemble Member, has been elected by the Lookingglass Ensemble to the position of Artistic Director Elect. He will transition into the position under the guidance of outgoing Artistic Director David Catlin, who will step down in June 2010. Catlin recently accepted a Visiting Professorship at Northwestern University; he will remain an active Ensemble Member and will direct his adaptation of Icarus at Lookingglass in December 2009.
