The Donmar Warehouse's sold-out production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Sweat by Lynn Nottage will transfer to London's Gielgud Theatre for a limited 6 week run from Friday 7 June 2019.

While the Canton Museum of Art (CMA) is currently showcasing more than 200 major works from its Permanent Collection in the exhibition "In The Parisian Salon," featuring artists such as John Singer Sargent, Winslow Homer, and Edward Hopper, something even more spectacular is occurring behind the scenes. To ensure these and other works are preserved and protected for all to enjoy for years to come, CMA is renovating its collection storage areas to install new floor-mounted art storage racks. This new system will provide heightened protection to some of the Museum's largest and most important works, while increasing storage capacity and allowing greater ease of movement and safety for curatorial staff when handling the art.

RWall d'Art gallery is celebrating Black History Month with a fundraiser for the local Los Angeles non-profit, 100 Black Men Of Los Angeles. Two signature programs of the charity will be featured: Young Black Scholars and "See Your Future Community Based Mentoring." Ten percent of all art sales will be donated to the charity

Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Hanh Ho as the new curator of contemporary art. She joined the Museum full time on January 7, 2019.

Originally released in early 2000 by Beggars Banquet, Lushlife album peaked at No. 14 on the CMJ Top 200 chart and No. 11 on the Core Radio chart. Nearly two years in the making, Lushlife, in what would become the band's final album, took even greater strides forward from previous releases. The album teems with atomized sounds, each one opening a portal in the mix, importing a haze of space and history, evoking the distant buzz of the city beyond the studio. The Donmar Warehouse today announces the extension, due to exceptional demand, for Lynette Linton's acclaimed production of Sweat by Lynn Nottage. The production will now be booking for performances until Saturday 2 February 2019.

The Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary Art Fair (PBM+C), presented by Art Miami and hosted by the City of West Palm Beach, will return for its third edition in West Palm Beach City's Tent Site (825 S Dixie Hwy at Okeechobee Blvd) on Thursday, January 10th through Sunday, January 13th, 2019. PBM+C is the most important fair to take place in Palm Beach during the winter season as it brings a world-class, internationally respected group of art dealers and their artists to one of the most culturally savvy and discerning collecting audiences in the world.

Centenary Stage Company and Centenary University offers "Acting for the Camera" workshop to the general public during the 2019 Spring Semester. The 2019 Spring Semester runs January 14 through May 3. The class meets Thursday evenings between the hours of 4:00pm and 6:30pm. Registration deadline for the workshop is Friday, January 11. Registration is $250 per participant.

 Coyote StageWorks, the Coachella Valley-based award-winning Actors' Equity professional theater company, announced that it has added three more FREE plays to its popular free "Play Dates" Reader's Series. Play Dates is a free Educational Community Outreach Program that features fresh or classic, compelling scripts read by new and established actors and are offered at the Camelot Theatre/Palm Springs Cultural Center. The upcoming new Play Dates are "Eugene Walter At Large" (a new, original work) on December 16, "Lips Together, Teeth Apart" (a revisiting of a modern classic on the 25th anniversary of its original Off-Broadway production) on February 24, and "A Doll's House, Part 2" (a 2017 Tony Award winner and recently listed as 'The most produced play of the season in the US.') on June 2.  All events start at 2 PM and are free and open to the public. Tickets are available on the day of the reading at the Palm Springs Cultural Center/Camelot Theatre on a 'first-come, first-served' basis.
