Dallas Theater Center Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty announced today the company's 2010-11 season slated for the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center and the historic Kalita Humphreys Theater. DTC's 52nd season will include two classics never seen before at DTC, a wildly funny comedy, two musicals, a world premiere, and two grand dames of theater.

Martin Lynch and Lisa May direct Lynch's Edinburgh Festival hit Chronicles of Long Kesh, running at the Tricycle Theatre from 15 March until 17 April, with press night on 16 March 2010. Set and costume designs are by David Craig, with lighting design by Conleth White. Chronicles of Long Kesh is produced by Green Shoot Theatre productions.

Producers Tom Hulce and Ira Pittelman announced the complete Broadway cast of AMERICAN IDIOT today. The production will begin previews on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 and open on Broadway Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44 Street).

The Perry-Mansfield New Works Festival (June Lindenmayer, Executive Director; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director) has announced the casting for the 2008 summer season of music, dance and theatre at the venerable performing arts camp and school in Steamboat Springs, CO. Mary Faber is currently starring in Saved, a new musical based off of the popular film of the same title. In Saved, Faber plays the popular girl Hilary Faye. Hilary and her best friend Mary (Celia Keenan-Bolger) are starting their senior year at the top of the social food chain at American Eagle Christian High School when series of events happens that throws Hilary's world into a tail spin. 'Saved' Postpones Previews One Day, Begins 5/10

Previews for the Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) World Premiere production of the new musical SAVED, which were scheduled to begin tonight, Friday, May 9, have been postponed due to a longer than expected tech process. Tonight's 8PM performance has been cancelled and the musical will now begin previews tomorrow evening, Saturday, May 10 at 8PM. (Please note: a matinee performance had not been scheduled for Saturday afternoon.)

The Nun Sings But the Show Never Soars

At the conclusion of the new musical on stage at the Theater at St. Clement's Church, an animated film of flowers blooming is projected on the cyclorama. It is supposed to represent a prayed-for miracle, however the lighting and the metallic confetti falling in front of it make the flowers appear out of focus and at times completely blurred. It seems a fitting way to end a show that has great promise but is completely out of focus in its present state
