Man Seeking Woman, the first original comedy series to debut on FXX, has been picked up for a second season, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming, FX Networks and FX Productions. The half-hour comedy series from Showrunner and Executive Producer Simon Rich, starring Jay Baruchel and produced by FX Productions, will return with 10 new episodes in 2016.

FX and FXX will ring in 2015 this January in a big way with the season premieres of Justified, The Americans and Archer on FX, along with the season premiere of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia and the series premiere of Man Seeking Woman on FXX

FXX has ordered 10 episodes of the comedy series Man Seeking Woman, starring Jay Baruchel from former Saturday Night Live writer Simon Rich

Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) has given a series order to MULANEY (working title), a young ensemble comedy created, written by and starring John Mulaney

According to Deadline, the network has axed the number of revamped, multi-camera episodes it would order for the show's second season from five to one. The news comes only days after series star Christina Applegate announced that she would not be returning to film any additional episodes, and a month after series creator Emily Spivey voluntarily walked away.
