Imagination Stage's teen performance ensemble will perform The Addams Family, the musical comedy, on January 9-11, 2015, on The Lerner Family Theatre stage. The Addams Family features an original story by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa.

LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & MC COY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT present pure 'electricity' with the third show in its 2014-2015 season, the Southern California Regional Premiere of the ten-time Tony Award-winning musical, BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL, music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, musical direction by John Glaudini, choreography by Dana Solimando and directed by Brian Kite. BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL will preview on Friday, January 16, 2015(with a press opening on Saturday, January 17) and run through Sunday, February 8, 2015 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.

Little Radical Theatrics presents the Westchester Regional Premiere of the hit Broadway musical "The Addams Family". This will be the first production of the brand-new version of this commerical and critically acclaimed new musical in Westchester County featuring a cast of professional actors from Westchester, New York City and the surrounding area.

ASCAP is now seeking new musicals for the annual ASCAP/DreamWorks Musical Theatre Workshop in Los Angeles. Serving once more as artistic director for the workshop is Academy and Grammy Award-winning composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz, whose credits include hit Broadway shows Wicked, Godspell and Pippin, the Walt Disney films Enchanted, Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame and the DreamWorks film The Prince of Egypt.

New York City Center's acclaimed Encores! Off-Center series announced its 2015 season today, featuring Jonathan Groff in A NEW BRAIN, original LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS cast member Ellen Greene, and Sutton Foster in THE WILD PARTY. After becoming a pop culture phenomenon with its sold out premier at New World Stages in 2012, Forever Deadward: The Vampire Musical Parody is back! Praised by MTV, E! Entertainment, and Entertainment Weekly among others, Forever Deadward is a hilarious, intelligent pop rock musical that lovingly takes a bite out of everyone's favorite vampire series (and a few other pop culture icons along the way). The show will have a concert presentation for the forthcoming Off Broadway show tonight December 16th at 9:30pm.

According to the New York Times, Encores! has just announced the upcoming 2015 season for its Off-Center series. Included in the line-up is William Finn's A New Brain (running June 24-27), starring Jonathan Groff; Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party (running July 15-18), starring Off-Center veteran Sutton Foster; and Little Shop of Horrors (running July 1), with original cast member Ellen Greene.

MEMPHIS stars Lakeisha Renee Houston and Brandon Fleming are recipients of the first SELVIN CHARITABLE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP. Harry and Maureen Selvin, longtime patrons of the arts and supporters of Cabrillo Music Theatre, have developed this scholarship, to be presented on the final performance of each Cabrillo Music Theatre production, to the performer in that Cabrillo show that best exemplifies the spirit of Cabrillo Music Theatre. At the November 23rd performance of MEMPHIS, Houston and Fleming each receive a $500 cash scholarship, a personal trophy, and name recognition on a permanent plaque of all those recognized, to reside in the Cabrillo Music Theatre office.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced finalists for the 2014 NYMF'S NEXT BROADWAY SENSATION competition. The first two rounds of competition were held Friday and Saturday at New World Stages.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced that Kate Baldwin would star in a rare revival of John & Jen, the musical with music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Greenwald and Lippa. This production will include the premiere of a new song, "Trouble with Men." Additional casting and designers to be announced shortly.
