The UK Tour of Tim Firth's new British musical, THE BAND, with the music of Take That, celebrated its opening night at Manchester Opera House last night, 26 September. The production will run December 3-19 at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery) with performances Thursday through Saturday at 7pm. Today the Producers of Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS announced the all-Australian cast for the acclaimed West End revival production, which tours Australia from October this year. This much-loved record-breaking musical opens in Sydney on 30 October and is then touring to Hobart, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide finishing in Perth in April 2016.
The Olivier Award-winning production of Mike Kenny's stage adaptation of E. Nesbit's novel The Railway Children - Live on Stage will be extending its run at King's Cross Theatre until Sunday 3 January 2016. Originally planned to close on 6 September, the production will run for an extra four months due to popular demand. Tickets for the new period will go on sale at 10.00am on Friday 10 July.
