The Public Theater (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director; Andrew D. Hamingson, Executive Director) announced the return of the popular Public Forum series with "Your Foreman Fix: An Evening With Richard Foreman" on Wednesday, January 19 at 7 p.m. at Joe's Pub.

Tribe members from the National Tour of the 2009 TONY Award winning Best Musical HAIR, will stage a 'Be-In' during their stop in Los Angeles. Following two hugely successful be-in performances in D.C and Seattle this night of music will feature cast members singing their favorite tunes while raising funds to benefit the non-profit Broadway Impact founded by former tribe member Gavin Creel. Special guest performances by Original Broadway HAIR Cast members, Bryce Ryness and Lauren Elder.

Due to a film commitment in Mr. Pacino's schedule, THE MERCHANT OF VENICE will go on hiatus following the performance on Sunday, January 9 (when it was originally scheduled to close) and will resume performances on Tuesday, February 1 for an additional three week run through Sunday, February 20 at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 W. 44th Street). THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT by Stephen Adly Guirgis will make its world premiere on Broadway starring Bobby Cannavale, Chris Rock, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Annabella Sciorra and Yul Vázquez. Directed by Anna D. Shapiro, the production will open on Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street, New York City). Today, a spokesperson for the production has announced that The strictly limited 14-week engagement will begin previews on March 15, 2010 one week earlier than originally announced date of March 22. Opening night remains scheduled for April 11, 2010.
