BroadwayWorld shot behind the scenes as the cast of HONEYMOON IN VEGAS came together to record a cast album for the upcoming show. Jason Robert Brown and Jeffrey Lesser are producing the Original Cast Recording for the show which opens at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre this winter. UMe (Universal Music Enterprises) will release the album on a date to be announced.

In a New York Times report on the closing of AFTER MIDNIGHT at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, they note that next up is said to be Honeymoon in Vegas, though dates are not yet confirmed.

Brooks considers Blazing Saddles to be his masterpiece and says that it is the funniest movie ever made, regardless of the fact that it is only number 6 on AFI's list. However, Brooks insists that Blazing Saddles would never be able to be made today.
