Midtown Direct Rep will hold a fundraising event to benefit the company during the opening week of Rated P for Parenthood, it was announced today. The Special MDR Off-Broadway fundraiser ticket will include prime orchestra seats to the Friday, March 20th 8:00 p.m. performance, exclusive talk back with the cast and the creators of Rated P, and a champagne after-party coach ride back to SOPAC with members of the cast, Ms. Rustin, Mr. Dobrish and producers who all call South Orange/Maplewood home.

Rated P for Parenthood began Wednesday, February 8 and officially opened last night, February 29, 2012 at the Westside Theatre. The company celebrated with a party at Southern Hospitality and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the excitement.

Rated P for Parenthood will begin performances today, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 with Opening Night set for Wednesday, February 29th upstairs at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street).

Following on the heels of a successful World Premiere at the South Orange Performing Arts Center in May, 2011, the new musical comedy Rated P for Parenthood Rated P will begin performances in New York on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 with Opening Night, which was previously set for February 26th, now scheduled for Wednesday, February 29th (**because a show like this only comes around every four years), upstairs at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street). The Broadway smash hit THE COLOR PURPLE, The Musical about Love, will play its final show at Fox Theatre on February 7.
