Tickets for the Broadway run of AMERICAN IDIOT will go on sale to the general public on February 14th. AMERICAN IDIOT will begin previews on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 and open on Broadway Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the St. James Theatre.

The music video for the new version of Green Day's platinum single "21 Guns," featuring the cast of AMERICAN IDIOT, is now available on www.AmericanIdiotonBroadway.com, following its exclusive premiere on AOL Music on February 1, 2010. The cast performed the song with Green Day on the GRAMMY® Awards, where the band won the "Best Rock Album" GRAMMY® for 21st Century Breakdown, on Sunday, January 31, 2010.

During last night's GRAMMY Awards, the Broadway cast of AMERICAN IDIOT performed with Green Day on the band's two-time GRAMMY nominated song '21 Guns' on Music's Biggest Night. The 52ND Annual Grammy Awards took place live on Sunday, January 31, 2010, at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and were broadcast on the CBS Television Network from 8-11:30pm (ET/PT).

Producers Tom Hulce and Ira Pittelman announced the complete Broadway cast of AMERICAN IDIOT today. The production will begin previews on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 and open on Broadway Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44 Street).

Rocco Landesman and the NEA have angered many a woman today with the news that they will not be funding the Women's Project's Playwrights Lab this year. According to a report in Time Out New York, part of the reason is because the NEA, which has steadily supported the Women's Project for many years, is no longer supporting general operating budgets. Instead they are underwriting specific projects.

Today, one day before the first performance of Green Day's American Idiot, Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced that it will extend the show due to record-breaking sales and unprecedented demand for seats.

Women's Project is set to resume performances of Liz Duffy's OR, beginning this weekend, November 5th. Performances have been cancelled since last weekend one of the show's actors Andy Paris, who plays multiple roles in this restoration-style, fast-paced comedy, suffered an injury, as previously reported.
