World famous trumpet player Chris Botti will bring a night of jazz and harmony to The VETS in Providence on Wednesday, May 21st, 2014 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $38-$68; Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.TheVetsRI.com, (401)-421-ARTS (2787) or the PPAC/The VETS Box Office located at 220 Weybosset St., Providence. Box Office hours are Monday – Friday from 10A-5P; Saturday from 10A-2P. The VETS is located at One Avenue of the Arts. The VETS on-site Box Office is only open on show days.
Registration Now Open for Garibaldi-Meucci Museum's Italian Language Classes

Registration for the spring semester of Italian language classes at the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum is now open. The 12-week semester begins February 22, with 90-minute classes offered weekdays, weekends and evenings to accommodate most schedules, for students of all levels of proficiency. Weekday classes will be taught by Rose Frisari on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, weekend classes will be taught by Professor Louis Leonini on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and evening classes will be taught by Maria Bonavita on Mondays and Wednesdays. Classes are limited to a maximum of 20 students and minimum of 10. Tuition is $165 for non-members and $150 for museum members and must be paid in advance.

Andrea Bocelli received a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, from the Giacomo Puccini Conservatory in La Spezia, Italy. His CD/DVD, Love in Portofino, was released the same day. The 55-year-old Italian tenor also has a degree in Law from the University of Pisa.

Broadway Kids Care (BKC), the organization of theater kids for kids (and others), will perform holiday songs at the 2013 UNICEF Snowflake lighting ceremony, to be held tomorrow (Friday, November 15th) at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street in New York City at 6:00pm. Among the performers will be BKC singer, Josh Page. Josh has been a long time BKC supporter and is delighted to participate with BKC as they lead the holiday songs for the NYC Snowflake lighting.
