Tony Scialli's musical The Dragon Slayer, directed by Andrea Andresakis with musical direction by Kenneth McQueen III, will get its world premiere as part of Winterfest at the 2017 New York Theatre Festival. The show will get three initial performances between January 9 - 14, 2017 at the Hudson Guild Theatre (459 West 26 Street). 'The Pearl Diver' is a magical tale about a young girl and a sea dragon. It was first known as the subject of a Noh, a medieval musical. In the spring of 2012 the story could be seen on illustrated scrolls at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. This production incorporates poetry, song, dance and live music.

Fitness expert and Golden Gloves winner, Cara Castronuova, former trainer on NBC's 'The Biggest Loser' will join the cast of Spandex, for a one-time-only performance on Saturday, May 25th at 8pm at the 777 Theatre, 777 8th Avenue, between 47th and 48th Streets.
