The Australian Discovery Orchestra, the world's first solely digital streaming orchestra, is proud to announce "16 STORIES" - a worldwide online vocal competition. Renowned musical theatre creators from around the world have contributed a song from a musical they have written that has never previously been recorded for commercial release; these 16 songs will comprise an upcoming Australian Discovery Orchestra album, to be released on the Broadway Records label.

AN EVENING WITH STEPHEN SCHWARTZ, a showcase of the multi-award-winning American lyricist and composer's best loved repertoire, will occur on Sunday 17 February. A drinks and finger buffet will begin at 6pm, with the main event beginning at 7.30pm, including Schwartz's first ever UK panel discussion about his life and work.

Katy Lipson of Aria Entertainment and Joseph Houston and William Whelton of Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester are delighted to announce Hope Aria Productions' 2019 Season. The Season will open on 2 March with the UK premiere of a new version of the Stephen Schwartz musical RAGS. From 27 September, Tracie Bennett will star in the title role in Jerry Herman's much loved musical MAME, and the season will be completed by a new musical, THE ASTONISHING TIMES OF TIMOTHY CRATCHIT, from 22 November.

The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music celebrates the 50th anniversary of its legendary Musical Theatre program with a Birthday Cabaret at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018 in Patricia Corbett Theater. The Workshop Theater's (312 W 36th Street) return engagement of The Astonishing Times of Timothy Cratchit, by popular demand, is set to play through Sunday, December, 18, 2016. Featuring a book by Allan Knee (Little Women) with music and lyrics by Andre Catrini, The Astonishing Times of Timothy Cratchit is a musical coming of age story that begins ten years after Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
