Manhattan Theatre Club will present its annual Winter Benefit 'An Intimate Night,' an evening of cocktails and dinner followed by a special one-night-only cabaret-style show on Monday, January 25, 2010 at The Plaza (Fifth Avenue and Central Park South).

MCC THEATER (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, Artistic Directors; William Cantler, Associate Artistic Director; Blake West, Executive Director) is pleased to announce another all-star line-up for the company's highly anticipated annual gala, to be held Monday, March 1, 2010 at The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues).

Manhattan Theatre Club's hit production of THE ROYAL FAMILY, written by theatre legends George S. Kaufman and Edna Ferber is currently playing its final week. The twice extended production, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes will play its final performance on Sunday, December 13 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

The Chelsea Symphony has announced its Fourth Annual Winter Concert on Friday, December 11 at 8 PM, at St. Paul's Church. The program will feature actor/playwright and drag legend Charles Busch in Aaron Dai's holiday favorite, the Night Before Christmas, following a tradition of celebrated guest narrators: Ana Gasteyer, David Hyde Pierce and Richard Kind. New York Times lauded flautist Jesse Schiffman will perform Mozart's First Flute Concerto and the program will be rounded out with the overture to the Marriage of Figaro and the Nutcracker Suite. The concert will be performed without intermission and will feature four conductors rotating from positions within the orchestra to the podium and back: Music Director Miguel Campos Neto, Ankush Kumar Bahl, Kyunghun Kim and Mark Seto.

The 21st Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION announced an all time record total of $4,630,695 had been raised by the 60 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tour companies to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This year's total breaks the previous record when $3,927,000 was raised for the 2007 GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS presented the 21st Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION over a two day event yesterday, December 7 and today, December 8 at the Palace Theatre on Broadway. The proceeds from the event benefit BC/EFA. This year's event raised more than $4,639,000 dollars. And the winners are in!

Girl Crazy, is the first Encores! production of the New York City Center season, starring Ana Gasteyer, Wayne Knight and Marc Kudisch which ran November 19 - 22. Girl Crazy, directed by Jerry Zaks and choreographed by Warren Carlyle with Guest Music Director Rob Fisher, has music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and book by Guy Bolton and Jack McGowan.
