Back to the Garden will play one night only at Joe's Pub, featuring Melissa Hammans, Carey Anderson, Maddy Wyatt and Amy Lynn Zanetto, with musical direction by Debra Barsha. The show takes place tonight, October 7th, doors at 9 p.m., show at 9:30 p.m.

Mega-belter Amy Lynn and her brassy band, The Gunshow, return to DROM tonight, September 14th. Joining them will be acclaimed indie-soul-folk duo The Bengsons. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.

Tituss Burgess Featured on Gospel Album 'Welcome'

Middle Collegiate Church launches its album, Welcome, composed and produced by Broadway and television actor Tituss Burgess (Jersey Boys, The Little Mermaid, Guys and Dolls, and 30 Rock) on Sunday, July 1 at 6 PM.

Newport New Play Festival Premieres 13 New Works, 6/14-17

Join Salve Regina University's theatre arts program and community members as they celebrate new plays and new playwrights June 14-17 at the Casino Theatre, 9 Freebody St., Newport, RI. Over the course of four days, 20 actors, seven directors and 18 playwrights will bring 13 new plays to life. All performances and workshops are free to the public.

STAGE TUBE: Broadway Sings for Pride and TA-DA! Youth Theater Sing 'It Gets Better'

On Saturday, May 19, 2012 Broadway Sings for Pride (www.BwayPride.org) in conjunction with the TADA! Youth Theater joined over twenty-five Broadway, Off Broadway, and National Tour performers to remind everyone 'it gets better.' The song, which included TADA!'s Resident Youth Ensemble, was done to promote equality and stop bullying. 'It Gets Better' was written in 2010 by composers, Jay Kuo & Blair Shepard after a string of LGBT suicides across the country. This song will be featured in Broadway Sings for Pride's Second Annual Gay Pride Concert on Monday, June 25, 2012 in Manhattan. For tickets and information, click here.

YOUTH THEATER presents, in conjunction with the now-playing world premiere musical UP TO YOU, IT'S UP TO YOU, a open forum event today, May 6, 2012 at 11am to discuss bullying through leadership, moderated by Miss New York Kaitlin Monte and featuring a special opening number from BROADWAY SINGS FOR PRIDE (http://bwaypride.org). The event is free, and parents and kids are especially encouraged to attend. These prolific singer/songwriters paved the way for women in music, art, and life. Their music is the core of Back to the Garden, a concert style song cycle that honors the stories, music, and history of these women.

Gideon Presents Advance Man: Part One of Mac Rogers' Honeycomb Trilogy

Gideon Productions will present Advance Man, part one of Mac Rogers' (Universal Robots; Viral) sc-fi epic The Honeycomb Trilogy, January 12-29 as part of BFG Collective's six month long residency at The Secret Theatre (44 02 23rd Street, Long Island City).
