New York City Center presents An Evening with Sara Bareilles tonight, November 5, 2015 at 8pm. The event serves as special album release show for her upcoming album, 'What's Inside: Songs from WAITRESS.' The album is slated to be released tomorrow, November 6th, featuring songs from WAITRESS, the upcoming Broadway musical. Watch the live stream from the concert here!

Additional casting has been announced for the Broadway production of Waitress. The new musical opens onSunday, April 24, 2016 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue), with previews starting on Friday, March 25, 2016. Waitress recently played a sold out limited engagement at the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Diane Paulus, Artistic Director, will present a reading of TRANS SCRIPTS, a groundbreaking new play about transgender identity, written by Paul Lucas, and directed by Jo Bonney, at OBERON on Monday, November 23 at 7:30PM. 

Yale Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of PEERLESS by Jiehae Park, directed by Margot Bordelon, November 27-December 19 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is Thursday, December 3. The cast of PEERLESS includes Teresa Avia Lim, Christopher Livingston, Caroline Neff, JD Taylor, and Tiffany Villarin.

ONCE, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will play the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium for a one week limited engagement from tonight, November 3-8. 

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the Old Globe/University of San Diego Graduate Theatre Program presentation of William Shakespeare's AS YOU LIKE IT, running November 14 - November 22 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Opening night is Saturday, November 14 at 8:00 p.m.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director, Casey Reitz Executive Director) just announced complete casting for its upcoming New York premiere production of SMART PEOPLE, the new play by LYDIA R. DIAMOND (Stick Fly), directed by Tony® Award winnerKENNY LEON (A Raisin in the Sun, The Wiz Live!).  MAHERSHALA ALI (House of Cards), JOSHUA JACKSON (The Affair), ANNE SON (My Generation), and TESSA THOMPSON (Creed) will co-star in the production.

PRAIRIE-OKE!, the musical mash-up parody that rocked Los Angeles, returns for three weekends only to the Cavern Club Theater.

Ghostlight Records and Two River Theater announce the release of the Original Cast Recording of the new musical BE MORE CHILL, with a U.S. Digital Release today, October 30; and international digital release on Friday, November 13; with physical CDs in stores and online Friday, December 18.

Fire in the night signals the return of Agamemnon from 10 long years of war in Troy. Triumphant and with a captive slave, the prophetess Cassandra, in tow, the warrior king arrives home and is welcomed by Clytemnestra, wife and mother who seethes with a vengeance born of the slaughter of their daughter Iphigenia. Revenge begets revenge; fate will be fulfilled. The first great play of Aeschylus' Oresteia trilogy, Agamemnon delivers a visceral and haunting theatrical experience.

Running November 20 - December 6, 2015, Boulder-based LOCAL Theater Company presents the World Premiere of James McLindon's dark comedy FAITH at the Dairy Center for the Arts, 2590 Walnut Street in Boulder.

In response to popular demand and critical acclaim, Soho Rep. and Ars Nova announce a second and final extension of the New York premiere of Cesar Alvarez's Futurity to November 22. Directed by Soho Rep. Artistic Director Sarah Benson, Futurity, which opened on October 20, is a new, avant-Americana musical with music by Alvarez and The Lisps, and lyrics and book by Alvarez. The production, which features 13 actor-musicians, is presented at the Connelly Theater (220 E. 4th St.) and in association with Carole Shorenstein Hays.

Today, the Broadway vet chats exclusively with BWW and explains why joining FINDING NEVERLAND was like 'jumping onto a speeding train'. The actor also gives us a preview of his next exciting project, the stage adaptation of TUCK EVERLASTING, heading to Broadway next April.

Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein are delighted to welcome back Chicago's theatre renegades The Hypocrites to Louisville with their playful reimagining of H.M.S. Pinafore by Gilbert and Sullivan. Director Sean Graney and his multi-talented ensemble of actors will lead audiences on an extended voyage through a reel of rare delights as they turn W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan's classic operetta on its head in this charmingly silly interpretation. Co-adapted by Sean Graney, Andra Velis Simon and Matt Kahler, H.M.S. Pinafore will run as part of the Brown-Forman Series with preview performances beginning on November 1 7, opening on November 19 and running through December 13, 2015. The full cast is set for the first national tour of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, opening at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre on December 10, 2015, and playing through January 17, 2016. (Previews on December 8 and 9.)

INVISIBLE THREAD will begin previews on Saturday, October 31st at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street). Opening night is scheduled for Wednesday, December 2nd. Broadway in Boston has announced that tickets for the highly anticipated upcoming engagement of PIPPIN will go on sale to the public this Sunday, October 25th.  Following its acclaimed run at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, MA this captivating new production comes straight from Broadway where it won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Musical Revival. PIPPIN will play a limited two week run at the Boston Opera House February 2 - 14, 2016 as part of the 2015-2016 Lexus Broadway In Boston Season.
