Kathleen Chalfant, Richard Easton to Lead Keen Company's PAINTING HOUSES

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company (Carl Forsman, Artistic Director/Damon Chua, Executive Director) today announced that Kathleen Chalfant and Richard Easton would lead the cast of Tina Howe's Painting Churches, the 1983 Pulitzer Prize finalist. Keen Artistic Director Carl Forsman directs.

Playwright Aden Ross (2006's sold-out run of AMERIKA) has thrown tidbits of MACBETH, TWELFTH NIGHT, OTHELLO, HAMLET, KING LEAR and THE MERCHANT OF VENICE into a theatrical blender. Lady Macbeth and her sister, Queen Gertrude of Denmark, have both been widowed recently under suspicious circumstances.

The Pasadena premiere of TENNESSEE WILLIAMS UNSCRIPTED will be joined by the Los Angeles premieres of CHEKHOV UNSCRIPTED and TWILIGHT ZONE UNSCRIPTED. Performances take place through November 13, 2011, with an official press opening for all three productions on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at The Carrie Hamilton Theatre (39 S.
