Greg Dean co-composer of Polkadots The Cool Kids Musical has released a brand new R&B album titled The GREG DEAN PROJECT. The album is signed to Purpose Records (USA), Dome Records (UK) and Sweet Soul Records (Japan) for global release in 2016. After a sold-out show this month at the Highline Ballroom, the 11th installment of the BROADWAY SINGS concert series will repeat its performance of Broadway Sings Whitney Houston. A cast of 15 Broadway stars will sing completely new arrangements of the legendary diva's greatest hits, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations.

On Monday, April 18, the Theater People podcast welcomes Five-time Tony Award-nominee, Danny Burstein. Burstein, currently staring as Tevye in the Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, began his career on Broadway in the early 1990s working mostly as an ensemble member and understudy. After making the decision to turn down work that didn't challenge him artistically, Burstein would go on to become one of the most celebrated leading men of his generation, earning Tony nominations for his work in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, SOUTH PACIFIC, FOLLIES, GOLDEN BOY, and CABARET.

On Monday, April 4, the Theater People podcast welcomes ON YOUR FEET star Andrea Burns. Burns made her professional New York debut in Jason Robert Brown's groundbreaking 1995 musical SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD. She then made her Broadway debut in 1996 as a replacement in the role of Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and went on to co-star in the Broadway productions of THE FULL MONTY and THE RITZ.

On Monday, April 4th, the Theater People podcast welcomes Emmy nominated choreographer Spencer Liff. As a performer, Liff made his Broadway debut at age 11 in the musical BIG. He went on to appear in THE WEDDING SINGER, CRY BABY, EQUUS, and  9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL, taking on more and more responsibility along the way. He was the Associate Choreographer and Dance Captain for CRY BABY, and was the Dance Captain on EQUUS. 

On Monday, March 28th, the Theater People podcast welcome's Broadway favorite and Fiddler on the Roof's Motel, Adam Kantor. The actor made his Broadway debut in 2008 as Mark in the closing cast of the Tony winning musical RENT directed by Michael Greif. The director, a mentor to Kantor, went on to cast him as a replacement in the role of Henry in the hit Broadway musical NEXT TO NORMAL.

The starry lineup is complete for the 11th installment of the BROADWAY SINGS concert series, Broadway Sings Whitney Houston, in which a cast of 15 Broadway stars will sing completely new arrangements of the legendary diva's greatest hits, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations. Joining the list of performers are Danielle Brooks (The Color Purple, 'Orange is the New Black'), Carly Hughes (Chicago), Mykal Kilgore (Book of Mormon, 'The Wiz Live!'), and Ciara Renee (Pippin, 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow').

On Monday, March 14 the Theater People podcast welcomes HAMILTON star Phillipa Soo. Soo mader her New York stage debut in the title role of Natasha in the critically acclaimed 2013 Off-Broadway production of NATASHA, PIERRE, & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812.

This April, the BROADWAY SINGS concert series will present its 11th show with Broadway Sings Whitney Houston. A cast of 15 Broadway stars will sing completely new arrangements of the legendary diva's greatest hits, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations. Previous artists honored in the series include Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Sara Bareilles, and Billy Joel.

The highly anticipated Broadway revival of Eugene O'Neill's HUGHIE starring Academy Award winner, Golden Globe Award winner & BAFTA winner Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland, The Butler, Southpaw) and Tony Award winner Frank Wood (Side Man, Angels In America, Clybourne Park), officially opened last night, February 25, 2016, at Broadway's Booth Theatre (222 West 45 Street). Directed by Tony Award winner and Olivier Award winner Michael Grandage (Photograph 51, Red, Frost/Nixon), HUGHIE will play a strictly limited engagement. On Monday, February 22, the Theater People podcast welcomes Broadway favorite Sierra Boggess, currently starring the new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical SCHOOL OF ROCK. Boggess made her Broadway debut in 2008 in the title role of the Disney musical THE LITTLE MERMAID. She went on to star in the Broadway revival of MASTER CLASS, opposite Tyne Daily, before heading to London's West End to originate the role of Christine Daae in Andrew Lloyd Webber's LOVER NEVER DIES, the sequel to THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

On Monday, February 8th, the Theater People podcast welcomes stage and television star Megan Hilty. Shemade her Broadway debut in 2004 as the Glinda stanby in the Broadway production of WICKED, before she eventually took over the role full time. She also played the role on the First National Tour before creating the role for the Los Angeles sit down production.
