A host of some of the best talent in West End musical theatre will join Hollywood stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway in the film of Les Misérables. The talented list below will be playing non starring roles in the forthcoming film.

Newcomer Isabelle Allen will play Young Cosette in the upcoming film version of the musical Les Miserables, ScreenTerrier reports. She will play the child version of Amanda Seyfried, who plays Cosette. Allen's character is known for her solo, Castle in a Cloud.

The highly anticipated movie version of LES MIS is currently in production in the UK, and Adelaide Now has just featured a sneak peak of Jean Valjean himself- Broadway's Hugh Jackman in costume. Check out the photo below.

Daily Mail reports that the cast of Cameron Mackintosh and Tom Hooper's film version of the musical Les Miserables now includes Bertie Carvel (Matilda), Daniel Evans (Sunday in the Park with George) and Adrian Scarborough (Betty Blue Eyes). In addition, several cast members who have performed in stage versions of Les Miserables will star in the film including Caroline Sheen, Hadley Fraser, Killian Donnelly, Mike Jibson, Linzi Hateley, Gemma Wardle, Katy Secombe, Gina Beck, Fra Fee, Alexia Khadine and Katie Hall.

The Society of London Theatre has today announced the shortlist for the BBC Radio 2 Olivier Audience Award. The public will vote for the overall winner. The shortlisted shows are BILLY ELLIOT, JERSEY BOYS, LES MISÉRABLES and WICKED.

Neil Morrissey and Samantha Barks will play the roles of Fagin and Nancy from Tuesday 13 March - Sunday 1 April. Samantha Barks will head straight from OLIVER! to start filming the forthcoming Les Miserables film, which has already begun production with scenes being shot in both England and France.

The highly-anticipated film adaptation of Les Miserables will open in movie theatre in December, and according to Daily Mail, the movie will feature brand-new music by the original song writing team. Baz Bamigboye reports that Claude-Michel Schonberg, Alain Boublil and Herbert Kretzmer wrote a song called 'Suddenly' for the movie.

TOPHER GRACE and OLIVIA THIRLBY will co-star in Second Stage Theatre's production of Paul Weitz's world premiere comedy, LONELY, I'M NOT, directed by Trip Cullman. Preview performances are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 10 at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street). The production will officially open on Monday, May 7. Cameron Mackintosh announced today that Ramin Karimloo will extend his run playing 'Jean Valjean' in the legendary musical "LES MISÉRABLES" at the Queen's Theatre until 31 March 2012. David Shannon will then return to the role of 'Jean Valjean' from Tuesday 3 April - Saturday 16 June 2012. He will be followed by Geronimo Rauch who will play the role from Monday 18 June 2012 until Saturday 15 June 2013
