EgoPo Classic Theater has announced their production of The Assassination of Jesse James. Jesse James is the opening production of EgoPo's yearlong American Vaudeville Festival, an exploration of the plays and stories that helped shape the American identity. Jesse James will be staged environmentally in the bar and 3rd floor studio of Plays and Plays Theater. Previews begin tonight, October 3rd with the press opening on October 5th. The show will run until October 28th.

Plays & Players celebrates their 100th Anniversary on May 14 at 7pm with a staged reading of Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband featuring local celebrities of stage, screen, politics, and more. An Ideal Husband was first performed on Plays & Players' stage in the Spring of 1912, exactly 100 years ago.

Honorary producers for the show are June and Steve Wolfson.
