New City Stage Company has announced the second show of its 2012-13 season, the Philadelphia premiere of Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge, written by Christopher Durang and directed by Michael K. Brophy.

EgoPo Classic Theater announces their production of The Assassination of Jesse James. Jesse James is the opening production of EgoPo's yearlong American Vaudeville Festival, an exploration of the plays and stories that helped shape the American identity. Jesse James is being staged environmentally in the bar and 3rd floor studio of Plays and Plays Theater. Previews begin October 3rd with the press opening on October 5th. Plays & Players celebrates their 100th Anniversary on May 14 at 7pm with a staged reading of Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband featuring local celebrities of stage, screen, politics, and more. An Ideal Husband was first performed on Plays & Players' stage in the Spring of 1912, exactly 100 years ago.

Plays & Players celebrates their 100th Anniversary on May 14 at 7pm with a staged reading of Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband featuring local celebrities of stage, screen, politics, and more. An Ideal Husband was first performed on Plays & Players' stage in the Spring of 1912, exactly 100 years ago. Tickets to this event are $25 for general admission or $50 for general admission and a "meet-the-artist" post-show reception from 9pm-10pm. Prior to the performance, there will be a pre-show reception and silent auction, with doors opening at 6pm.

Theatre Exile will present the final show of their 15th season with the Philadelphia premiere of A Behanding in Spokane by Martin McDonagh. Directed by Exile's Artistic Director Joe Canuso and starring Pearce Bunting, Amanda Schoonover, Matt Pfeiffer and Reuben Mitchell, A Behanding in Spokane will be running from April 19th to May 13th , with the official press opening on the 25th of April. Honorary producers for the show are June and Steve Wolfson.
