Sondheim's ROAD SHOW Opens Tonight, 11/18

ROAD SHOW is a new musical featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by John Weidman, and direction and scenic design by John Doyle. The cast of 17 will feature Michael Cerveris and Alexander Gemignani as the two Mizner brothers. ROAD SHOW will run through Sunday, December 28 with an official press opening tonight Tuesday, November 18.
The Public Theater Adds Performances of 'Road Show'

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) has announced there will now be a 2PM matinee performance of ROAD SHOW every week as well as an additional 8PM performance on December 22nd, 2008. Tickets went on-sale on Sunday, October 12.

Wasserstein to Posthumously Receive Monte Cristo Award

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center will present its annual Monte Cristo Award posthumously to Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein in recognition of her distinguished accomplishments and contributions to the American theater exemplifying Eugene O'Neill's standard of excellence.
