AMERICAN IDOL 8 season eight runner-up Adam Lambert talked to Entertainment Tonight about the 'IDOL' tour, his upcoming debut album and his very public 'coming out.'

The American Idols Tour 'hits the road' this summer. It was announced today that he top 10 finalists, Adam Lambert, Allison Iraheta, Anoop Desai, Danny Gokey, Kris Allen, Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud, Megan Joy, Michael Sarver, and Scott MacIntyre, will take the stage on a 50 city tour beginning July 5th.

Tonight on American Idol, the Top 3 Adam Lambert, Kris Allen and Danny Gokey visited their hometowns. Each finalist performed two song as their journey into the finale continues, performers got to chose one song from any genre and so did the judges.
